Student Support

The Center for Translation Studies frequently supports students to attend conferences across the US, especially the annual conference of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA). In addition, the Center hires student workers to work on a variety of projects. In the past these students have written annotations for the Annotated Books Received (ABR) supplement to Translation Review (TR); they have updated the peer reviewer database for TR; have done research to identify and organize information about translation centers and university programs across the US and internationally; have produced the Translating the World with Rainer Schulte podcast, and others have done research on language specific contemporary work in translation.
