Translation and Multi-Media

The Center for Translation Studies places a great emphasis on incorporating translation with other mediums, and expanding the possibilities of textual interpretation by including technological and scientific models. This is accomplished by semiotic translation, the translation of literary texts into other media such as visual, musical, and interactive, and the design of virtual situations to acquaint students with the cultural and social traditions of different countries.
